What is the difference between custom and bespoke suits?
A custom suit (made-to-measure) is created by adjusting an existing pattern to fit your body measurements. A bespoke suit is crafted entirely from scratch using a pattern drafted specifically for you. Bespoke tailoring involves additional fittings and offers the highest level of personalization and craftsmanship.
How long does it take to make a custom suit?
Most custom suits are completed within 5–7 weeks after your consultation and measurements are finalized. Rush options may be available depending on fabric availability and timing.
How long does a bespoke suit take?
Bespoke garments typically take 8–10 weeks due to the additional fittings and handcrafted construction involved in the process.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended to ensure that one of our stylists can provide you with a dedicated consultation. Are alterations included?

We offer thousands of fabric options sourced from some of the world’s most respected mills, including Ermenegildo Zegna, Loro Piana, Scabal, Dormeuil, and Vitale Barberis Canonico.
Can I customize every detail of the suit?
Yes. Clients can customize nearly every element of the garment including fabric, lapel style, lining, buttons, monograms, pockets, and more.
How many appointments are required?
Most clients only need two appointments:
1) Initial consultation and measurements and 2) The Final fitting when the suit is completed for delivery/pick up.

Yes. Tru Tailor offers custom dress shirts starting around $200–$250, designed to complement your suit and tailored specifically to your measurements.
